The Vision.
Why we started DFI Labs, the model we operate on, and the two of us behind it.
We started DFI Labs because the most valuable problems in AI aren’t being solved by the people who can move fastest. Wrappers ship in a weekend. Foundations take years. We’re building a company around the years.
The model is simple: pick one fundamental problem in AI, solve it from first principles, and ship it as a product. Each product addresses a missing primitive in how today’s AI systems work, and stands on its own as a business. Together, they compose into the substrate the next generation of AI will be built on.
Memory is first — that’s Engram. Reasoning, grounding, and the problems we don’t yet have good names for will follow.
DFI Labs is founded by Sukeesh and Revanth. Sukeesh is an IIT Roorkee alumnus and an engineer who has built software at Mercari in Tokyo and Fi.Money in Bangalore, worked on an AI agent platform at Sema4.ai, and currently works with Isotopes.ai — a Palo Alto company — remotely from India. Revanth is an IIT Hyderabad alumnus and an engineer who has built systems at Microsoft and is currently at Salesforce.
Between us, we’ve spent the last several years shipping software in consumer fintech, large-scale platforms, and AI agent infrastructure. DFI Labs is the next chapter.
If the work resonates, we’d like to hear from you. sukeesh@dfilabs.xyz
